SCP-268 is to be kept in a Standard Anomalous Object Handling box inside of the Loading Bay Section at Paragon Research Facility.
Routine Checkups will occur by combative personnel to ensure SCP-268 is properly seated inside of the handling box.
SCP-268 has became a high priority target by Class-D personnel in the event that they escape from the Class-D Containment Zone.
Description
SCP-268 resembles a newboys cap, similar to the ones worn in the 1920's. SCP-268's anomalous effects don't manifest until worn by the user. When worn, SCP-268 will make it's user fully invisible to the eye. No physical harm comes to the user, and no other effects besides invisibility have been recorded. Talking, dancing, attempting to pick up SCP crates, and attempting to hack or open doors causes the user to become semi translucent, and visible enough to see. It was documented by Dr. Killer that SCP-268's effects will last at max, an approximate 53 seconds, before revealing the wearer and setting a cool down(1 minute if worn all the way) for its wearer. It effects can also be stop temporarily if it is taken off its wearer's head. Unexpectedvariance and EmolgaXDY did some cross-test w/ this SCP that MaD didn't code in.
