SCP-457 is to be kept in an Advanced Sphere Entity Chamber at the end of the right hallway, Heavy Containment Zone, at Paragon Research Facility.
SCP-457’s containment chamber is to remain sealed at all times outside of testing. At no point outside of testing should any personnel or flammable materials be introduced to SCP-457’s chamber. SCP-457 is capable of breaching its own containment should it gain significant heat.
In the event of a Containment Breach, SCP Foundation Personnel are to evacuate to spawns instead of the breach shelter. SCP-457 is capable of generating enough heat to breach through blast doors and compromise the breach shelter.
Falling victim to SCP-457 makes the anomaly more powerful. As such, isolating the SCP from all flammable materials and personnel is a top priority.
Re-containment of SCP-457 is to be primarily conducted by Mobile Task Force Eta-9 "Wardens". As of now, there is no direct way to contain SCP-457. Protocol "FIRE SUPPRESSION" is to be used on SCP-457 if the leading re-containment body deem it necessary.
Description
SCP-457 resembles a humanoid anomaly covered in fire with the primary goal of growing and consuming any flammable substance, including living beings, which SCP-457 designates as ‘fuel’. SCP-457 is very frequently hostile and violent. Any physical contact or close proximity to SCP-457 risks severe and possibly lethal burns.
SCP-457’s size, heat, color, personality, and intelligence shift upon gaining fuel. The following are the categorized heat stages of SCP-457 ordered by increasing heat.

Red: In this state, SCP-457 is at its smallest. SCP-457 is capable of speaking only two words in this state: “Fuel” and "More". While red, SCP-457 is incapable of communication or advanced cognition. SCP-457’s only motivation in this phase is to consume fuel and gain heat.
Orange: SCP-457’s orange phase is similar to its red, although larger and slightly more advanced. It is capable of short phrases, but cannot communicate effectively outside of requesting for more fuel.
Yellow: SCP-457 is capable of understanding some communication in this phase, but often gets confused. Around this stage, SCP-457 stops being automatically hostile, and has the potential to remain nonviolent towards individuals providing it fuel.
Light Blue: SCP-457’s light blue phase is theoretically the most cooperative. Although it persists in requesting for fuel, SCP-457 is capable of holding conversation at this phase.
Blue: SCP-457’s cognition is greatly increased at this stage, as is its ego. While blue, SCP-457 refers to itself as a god and demands obedience from ‘mortal’ personnel. This heat has proven capable of complex interviewing, but possesses the potential to breach through the doors of its containment on its own.
Purple: Not much is known about SCP-457 while it is in this phase, other than that it is extremely dangerous, and can be triggered by SCP-409(Including the chemical that SCP-409 provides, however, the effects from those chemicals will only last a few seconds).

Addendum 457.1| "08/13/19██": On this date, numerous SCP's breached containment at Paragon Research Facility, including numerous "instances" of SCP-457, SCP-173, and SCP-131-GRY On Sublevel-4, an instance of SCP-457 appeared in a red state as well as another instance of SCP-457 appearing in a blue state. The final instance of SCP-457 was spotted in the Sublevel-5 Class-D Containment Zone, the phase of the instance on Sublevel-5 is unknown. It is possible but not known that SCP-343 smited the original SCP-457 which resulted in SCP-457 splitting. Further research on this topic is given to the Scientific Department.
Addendum 457.2 | "02/18/19██": On this date, Senior Researcher LuxxOfAstora managed to replicate the splitting that occoured in Addendum 457.1. Apparently upon reaching a fuel level equivalent to that of his purple phase, SCP-457 is able splits into two different instances. These instances do not work in unison, and, instead, are their own separate beings with their own mind. The split of SCP-457 carries all the same properties as 457, and is equally as dangerous. SCP-457 splitting is signified when he reaches a level of fuel equivalent to what is needed for his purple phase and it will result in a burst of flames in all directions, with a small red flame emerging from the original being. This also causes 457 a decrease in fuel, with him returning to his light blue mode shortly after the split.
