SCP-2398 is to be kept in a Standard Anomalous Entity Chamber inside Cleanrooms, Chamber 06, at Paragon Research Facility.
Routine checkups occur by combative personnel, mainly during riot protocol or when a great amount of Class-D personnel escaped Sublevel-5. SCP-2398 serves as a great way for Class-D personnel to easily assassinate a high ranking individual quickly.
Description
SCP-2398 resembles a standard wooden baseball bat with a taped grip and "KO" engraved into the wood. SCP-2398 does not display any anomalous effects to its wielder/user, or when not currently being utilized, but anomalous effects start to arise when used on another subject. When a subject is smacked at a high speed by SCP-2398, SCP-2398 will produce a loud and deadly explosion, causing the subject/victim to explode violently on the spot upon impact. The explosion was originally thought to have, but was later dis-proven to have, an Area of Effect(AoE) by Dr. Jamesplayztv1.

Addendum 2398.1 | Countermeasures
It has been discovered that personnel holding a shield will not take any form of damage from SCP-2398 on impact.
