SCP-1162 is to be kept in a Standard Anomalous Object Handling box inside of the Item Containment at Paragon Research Institute. Routine Checkups will occur by combative personnel to ensure SCP-1162 is properly seated inside of the handling box.

⚠ SCP objects are not to be given to SCP-1162 at any time.

DESCRIPTION

SCP-1162 is a large, "shadowy" hand located within a hole in a wall. No attempt at relocating hand itself have been successful, but the wall can be moved. The hand has a corporeal form and will exit the hole upon an individual getting within a few feet of the wall.

SCP-1162 will take any item given to it and return an item of equal or higher value. It is unknown how it determines the "value" of an item given to it. In the event an individual attempts to give SCP-1162 nothing, it will grab the individual and return nothing.

Some items of note include laundry, which will return a gun regardless of the state (dirty, wet, clean).
