SCP-066// "Eric's Toy"
SCP-066// "Eric's Toy"
SCP-066 is to be kept in a custom chamber inside the Light Containment Zone at Paragon Research Institute. There are no special safety procedures when it comes to SCP-066; the entities are freely allowed to roam as long as they do not attempt to leave the facility.
⚠ SCP-066 is not to be disturbed or irritated beyond testing, failure to comply will result in bodily harm or possible risk of deafness.
SCP-066 is a small, spherical mass composed of braided threads occasionaly attached human eyes. It is capable of limited autonomous movement and typically behaves in a harmless, playful way. When handled, it often emits pleasant musical tones, similar to those of a small music box.
SCP-066 possesses a range of anomalous abilities centered around sound, physical strength, and reactive behavior. SCP-066 becomes unpredictable when it hears or is prompted with the name “Eric,” after which it produces tones either.
Audio tapes record SCP-066 being capable of emitting tunes such as: Happy Birthday, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2., Piano Keys, "Eric."
⚠ When agressive, SCP-066 undergoes a rapid behavioral shift marked by heightened activity and the spontaneous broadcast of a distorted orchestral recording resembling Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2., which is capable of disorienting or incapacitating personnel .
SCP-066 demonstrates anomalous physical strength entirely inconsistent with its size and composition, having repeatedly exerted force sufficient to fracture reinforced concrete flooring and deform steel containment fixtures.
SCP-066 x SCP-173 Cross-Test in the Medium Containment Zone.
SCP-066 was requested transfer from Site-41 under special favor from Researcher Henry D. Handeworth, as a birthday gift for Veteran Researcher Henri J. Eatson.
