SCP-9883 is to be kept in a Standard Anomalous Object Handling box inside of the Item Containment at Paragon Research Institute. Routine Checkups will occur by combative personnel to ensure SCP-9883 is properly seated inside of the handling box.
DESCRIPTION
SCP-9883 is a pair of antique spectacles resembling eyewear commonly worn during the 19th century. While inert when unhandled, physical contact with the object induces unpredictable proportional alterations to the holder's body, including significant changes in height and body mass while maintaining a constant overall weight. These transformations cause no apparent physical harm, and subjects retain their altered physiology indefinitely after SCP-9883 is removed.
