SCP-035 is to be kept within a hermetically sealed glass case measuring no fewer than 10 centimeters (4 inches) in thickness. Routine checkups are to be conducted exclusively by armed combative personnel to ensure SCP-035 remains properly seated on its display pedestal within the enclosure.

Research personnel are strictly forbidden from making physical contact with SCP-035 at any time. SCP-035 appears to be a white porcelain comedy mask. When placed upon the face of an individual, SCP-035 immediately assumes control over the host subject's body. While in control of a host, the entity typically assumes the name "Trajan."

Physiologically, SCP-035 can project a viscous black fluid capable of hardening into sharp spikes and tendrils, which the entity utilizes defensively and offensively. Bodies controlled by SCP-035 undergo accelerated physical decay over time. As a result, the entity expresses a strong preference for young, healthy hosts to maximize operational longevity, and will deliberately cause the death of its host if the physical vessel fails to meet its standards.

Psychologically, SCP-035 exhibits a highly charismatic, manipulative, authoritative, and egotistical personality, frequently attempting to compel surrounding individuals into subservience. The entity demonstrates severe aversion to periods without a host, describing containment without a physical vessel as a form of sensory and physical isolation.
