Section I > Information
Projects are to be conducted through a series of team tests, consisting of the project personnel. All project personnel should be assigned a task by the project lead, this can be anything from requesting Class-Ds to taking notes. Overall, the main point of the project is to discover something. Contrary to the usual ScD testing, the final product of project testing is the most important part of it.
Section II > Regulations
Anyone ranking RI+ may request to start a project.
You may choose between a private or public project. In private projects only people you invite may take part, but in a public project anyone may join.
All projects will use the Project Sponsor's testing clearance.
If you are testing on an SCP that is above your clearance as part of a project, you must have someone with the correct clearance present at the test, this is to avoid confusion for combatives/escorts.
Only a single project report should be made from tests hosted as part of the project (Format linked below)
Projects must be ethical unless an ethics waiver is in place.
If a project is left inactive for more than 1 week it will be removed. (Projects may be put on-hold if the situation requires it)
Section III > Project Sponsors
A project sponsor is a member of command who has decided to "sponsor" a project. When a command member "sponsors" a project the project will use their testing clearance and they will be responsible for overseeing the project and submitting any significant discoveries to High Command.
Section IV > Starting a project
To start a project you should submit a request in the pinned post of #research-projects using the pinned format. From there, a command member will respond and "sponsor" your project. The sponsor is basically a project overseer with a few extra details. The project sponsor is responsible for submitting any significant discoveries to High Command and will oversee the project.
Section V > Conducting a project
Projects are to be conducted through a series of team tests hosted by the project personnel. The project lead or sponsor is not required to be present during any of these tests, but any discoveries should be submitted to them. You are not required to submit a test report for any tests conducted as part of a project, instead a final project report should be submitted when all research has concluded.
This documentation was created and approved by High Command.
